During her three years of post-graduate degree training in psychotherapy at the Marital and Family Therapy program of the JGH, Emily trained in an integrated approach to therapy which consists of a combination of theoretical orientations including: systems theory, attachment theory, emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy (SFT) and narrative therapy. She also integrates a mindfulness-based approach based on the professional training she did under the direction of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn and Dr. Saki Santorelli of the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Whether you are an individual, couple or family, the decision to begin therapy is not always easy. Please feel free to contact Emily for a free 15 minute phone consultation at firstname.lastname@example.org or 514.276.1446.
